CLIENT EXPERIENCE

  • Review and mail Notices of Demand with Intent to Accelerate and Notices of Acceleration in attempt to collect unpaid balances on behalf of credit unions.
  • Represent credit unions in collection cases throughout Texas by drafting and filing Plaintiff’s Original Petitions, Motions of Default Judgment, Motions for Summary Judgment, Agreed Judgments, and Settlement Agreements.
  • Represent mortgage servicers by reviewing defaulted properties for foreclosure and file Notices of Sale in various counties all over Texas.
  • Represented individual members on the unsecured creditor committee in Texas E&P Operating, Inc., Northstar Offshore Group, LLC, SandRidge Exploration, Linn Energy, LLC, Mountain Divide, LLC, and Ricochet Energy, Inc.
  • Appeared and represented creditors in bankruptcy court, including section 341 meetings, status conferences, and hearings regarding first day motions, sale motions, disclosure statements, and Chapter 11 plans.
  • Represented trade lienholders as defendants in adversary cases, such as avoidance actions and lien priority suits.
  • Negotiated settlement contracts and stipulations on behalf of creditors involved in bankruptcy adversary proceedings.
  • Drafted and filed proofs of claim, motions, and objections on behalf of creditors in Chapter 11 and l 5 bankruptcy cases, including to Wu:ri1on􀃝 for Summary Judgment, Motions for Default Judgment, Notices of Appearance, and objections to debtor's first day motions, KEIP motions, critical vendor motions, disclosure statements, and Chapter 11 plans .
  • Drafted promissory notes, deeds of trust, demand letters, lien releases, public and private bond claims, and construction and mineral liens.
  • Appeared and represent clients as plaintiffs or defendants in state and federal civil litigation cases, including breach of contract, suit on sworn account, and foreclosure suits.
  • Represent minor children from Honduras in immigration and family court to gain residency in the United States.
